It features a unique, patent protected 5” (125 m m) LF/0.7”(19 m m) HF Coaxial Differential Dispersion driverin a rigid ABS moulded enclosure andis supplied with a dedicated o m ni directio nal mo u nti ng bracket.
The Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology e mployed in the CDD5delivers moreconsistentaudiencecoveragethansystems withfixedX°xY°coveragepatterns —projectingrelatively more output to the rear of the audience to distribute sound evenly fro nt-to- back, w hile havi ng wi de horizo ntal coverage close- u p. Its innovative C D D driver achieves ‘point source’ su m mation of the LF and HF sections — eli minating off-axis variations infrequencyresponseinthecrossoverregionassociatedwith non-coaxial designs.I mproving on conventional coaxial designs, which can suffer fro m high-frequency bea ming, the driver feat ures a static waveg ui de t hat merges sea mlessly wit h t he unique cone shape — maintaining the dispersion pattern out to very highfrequencies.

Afull-range, passivetwo-way syste m,the CDD5 should be used with a co mpatible controller with appropriateli miter settingsto provide syste m protection. When used withthe DX4.0 controller oraniKONamplifier,therearenowenhancedDSPandFIR based pre-sets to deliver the absolute maxi mu m perfor mance and fidelity while li miter settings protect the integrity of the syste m.
