The CDD12is a compact, passivetwo-way system designed for installations that require high output levels. Its high- specification 12”(300 m m) LF/1” exit HF Coaxial Differential Dispersion driver delivers perfect sound across the audience over me di u m-t hro w dista nces.
The Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology e mployed in the CDD12 delivers more consistent audience coverage than syste ms with fixed X° x Y° coverage patterns — projecting relatively more output to the rear of the audience, while having wide horizontal coverage close-up. Its innovative C D D driver achieves‘pointsource’summationoftheLFandHFsections — eli minating off-axis variationsinfrequencyresponse associated wit h no n-coaxial desig ns. I m provi ng o n co nve ntio nal coaxial designs, which can suffer fro m high-frequency bea ming, the driverfeaturesastaticwaveguidethat mergesseamlesslywith the unique cone shape — maintaining the dispersion pattern out to very high frequencies.
The LF driver has a 2.5”(65 m m) voice coil and efficient motor with an alu miniu m de modulating ring to mini mise distortion, while the HF driver utilises a 1.75” (44 m m) polyi mide

The visually-distinctive co mposite enclosure can be used in eit her horizo ntal (la n dsca pe) or vertical ( portrait) orie ntatio n, with rotation of the driver easily acco mplished by re moving the screw-free, protective grille. The curved shape of the CDD12 allowsitto be surface- mounted closeto a wall via an optional wall bracket or suspended fro m a ceiling by eyebolts or a horizontal yoke option.
Finishedinblack(RAL9005)orwhite(RAL9016)asstandard, theCDD12canbesuppliedinanyRALcolourtoorder.
Afull-range, passivetwo-waysyste m,the CDD12should be used withacompatiblecontrollerwithappropriatelimitersettingsto provide syste m protection.
When used withthe DX4.0 controller or an iKONamplifier, there now enhanced DSP and FIR based pre-sets to deliver the absolute maxi mu m perfor mance and fidelity while li miter settings protecttheintegrity ofthe syste m.
