The ultra-compact CDD6is atwo-way passiveloudspeaker syste m designed to fulfil the require ment for full-frequency dyna mic perfor mance fro m a very s mall enclosure. Featuring a 6.5”(165 m m) LF/1”(25 m m) HF Coaxial Differential Dispersion driver,its extre mely s mall size and sleeklines makeitidealfor visibly-unobtrusive applications. It can also be used as a fill syste min conjunction withlarger CDD Series models and, with theadditionofanSXsubwoofer,canreproducesurprisinglyhigh levels of music progra m.
The Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology e mployed in the CDD6delivers moreconsistentaudiencecoveragethansystems with fixed X° x Y° coverage patterns — projectingrelatively more output to the rear of the audience, while having wide horizontal coverage close-up. Its innovative C D D driver achieves ‘point source’ su m mation of the LF and HF sections — eli minating off-axis variations in frequency response associated with non- coaxial desig ns. I m provi ng o n co nve ntio nal coaxial desig ns, which can suffer fro m high-frequency bea ming, the driver features a static waveguide that merges sea mlessly with the unique cone shape — maintaining the dispersion pattern out to very highfrequencies.
